OVERVIEW
The Institute is about a boy, Luke Ellis, who has mild telekinetic abilities. He is kidnapped, uprooted from his life and taken to this place called The Institute, where he and a host of other children with similar telepathic and telekinetic abilities are being held. Luke who is also a child prodigy, is determined to uncover what is going on and find a way out. Set in an institution for children with powerful gifts, the major theme of the book revolves around childhood trauma.
TREATMENT
The title sequence is an adaptation of the thriller novel by Stephen King, which was published in 2019. This piece makes the most use of stock images edited in a way that creates an intriguing and engaging visual narrative. it is heavy on audio sensitive visuals and rhythmic editing, which goes perfectly along with the minimalistic style of typography, and it’s treatment with the visuals.
