OVERVIEW
The series focuses on Lucifer Morningstar, the devil who was once an angel cast out of heaven for his rebellion. Lucifer, tired of the millennia he spent being lord of hell, abdicates his throne in defiance of his father (God), and comes to Los Angeles. After finding himself involved in a murder investigation, he meets his match, Chloe Decker (LAPD detective). The duo soon start solving crimes together and developing their relationship in the process.
TREATMENT
Since the show Lucifer, doesn't currently have a title except a quick logo reveal, I decided to work on a title sequence for it. The painted and textured brush strokes animating in and out juxtaposed to go with a rock music track was to portray the duality and depth in the antihero's personality. The frames were illustrated on Adobe Photoshop, with each frame painted from scratch without integrating any images or 3D.
