SCAD STARTUP TOP 5
My team participated in SCAD Startup this year, and emerged as one of the top 5 finalists out of about 90 teams and 300+ participants!
Our concept homE (pronounced "homie"), was the result of an intensive week of researching, ideating, testing and designing that pushed us to put our best foot forward. The idea helped us solve for a problem that we, along with most students across the world faced: moving to a new place to study and trying to figure out things by yourself, especially in the middle of a pandemic.
The platform helps facilitate a service exchange between students, helping them build a community across the student body and recent alumni, based on accountability. Our model would integrate universities into the platform, verifying every user, to ensure the safety of the student community.
